Positions

Please see the list below for an example of some of the Intermountain AmeriCorps direct service positions that were available for the 2016-17 program year. A list of positions for the 2017-18 program year will be posted in May 2017. Positions are filled as soon as qualified applicants are found.

The status of each position shows whether it is open, closed, filled, or pending. "Pending" means that the site is considering and interviewing one or more applicants at this point, but it is not officially filled yet.

Literacy Council of Chelan & Douglas Counties Support adult students who are learning English to increase their employment and citizenship opportunities (two positions available, one requires fluency in Spanish). Wenatchee Filled
SkillSource Wenatchee Help teach job training and skill building workshops to economically disadvantaged adults. Wenatchee Filled
SkillSource Wenatchee Provide direct services to improve the basic skills of at-risk youth working on their GED or catching up on high school credits. Wenatchee Filled
Tierra Village TRAILS PROGRAM Serve with special needs adults expanding participant's community connections, their communication and job skills and their opportunities for meaningful work as well as greater financial independence. Leavenworth Closed
Wenatchee School District After School STEM Program Develop and lead after-school activities in science, technology, engineering, or math at area elementary or middle schools (two positions available, one serving elementary school youth and one serving middle school youth). Wenatchee Closed
